the collection TWO. #PRIMOPIANOSCALAc is 10 years old
It’s been five years since we published ‘the collection ONE’; and it’s with the same sense of amazement that today we’re ready with ‘the collection TWO’. We’re amazed because by making some time here and there, writing at the most unimaginable times and in the most unimaginable places, pursuing a long list of potential interviewees, we here at Telos A&S have managed for another five years in a row never to skip a single month’s issue of our monthly publication PRIMOPIANOSCALAc.
For “the collection TWO” we’ve selected a good thirteen of the sixty interviews published from January 2014 to December 2018. Just like the last time, we’ve chosen some main ideas to introduce the interviews and separate the collection into five chapters.
In these second five years much has changed. The most important was opening up and often talking about lobbying and politics, topics which in the first five years we only just touched on. Actually, at first, we didn’t touch on lobbying, our profession, at all.
We thought the time was ripe to do it. Something else that also contributed, maybe just a bit, was also the fact that Telos A&S has earned even more credibility to talk about lobbying through the many initiatives we’ve undertaken to redeem our profession, rife with widespread prejudice and stereotypes.
As in “the collection ONE” some important names have agreed to write the preface: President Luciano Violante, who with sharp wit, has commented on each interview, topped off by the “scoop” about his unexpected culinary abilities; then Stefano Lucchini, communicator par excellence, finds PRIMOPIANOSCALAc to be a good example of brand journalism and explains his reasons for this flattering judgment and Constanze Reuschner, who with her poetic prose re-interprets and helps us to re-experience each chapter through the eyes of a journalist, historian, traveller and foreigner.
PRIMOPIANOSCALAc is actualy a few years older, however Covid-9 slowed down the 10th anniversary celebration.
