Italy COVID-19. An overview, in English, of the PM Decree of 26 April, providing for new measures for the s.c. Phase Two, starting today

On 26 April, Prime Minister Conte signed a PM Decree providing for new measures for the s.c. Phase Two of the tackling of the outbreak. These provisions apply from May 4 to May 17.

Its main provisions fall into the following categories:

• Factories and construction sites
• Monitoring of the contagion spread and possible lockdown of specific areas
• Other restrictions to be lifted starting today, May 4^th
• Travelling into Italy: no change for the time being
• Additional protocols
